Red Rice Prevent High Blood Pressure and Heart Attacks

According to some experts, red rice can prevent high blood pressure and reduces risk of heart attack.

Brown rice has more fiber content compared to either plain white rice that is useful to reduce high cholesterol.

Experimental results show that brown rice contains compounds that may protect the heart from harmful proteins, but these compounds will be lost if the rice is polished into white rice.

A number of scientists in the U.S. and Japan say these findings may help to decipher why the cases of heart disease is lower in Japan - where the most populated region mengkunsumsi rice every day.

Professor Satoru Eguchi from Temple University in Philadelphia, said: "Brown rice may have had some advantages over white rice and red rice sub-layer can provide protection against high blood pressure, atherosclerosis or" hardening of arteries. '"
